Scarlett Johansson Heading to Broadway

According to Variety, Scarlett Johansson and Liev Schreiber are both set to star in “A View From the Bridge”, a Broadway play from Gregory Mosher who directed “A Streetcar Named Desire” starring Jessica Lange and Alec Baldwin back in 1992.

This will be Johansson first time on Broadway while Schreiber starred in “Talk Radio” in 2007, and won a Tony award for his role in “Glengarry Glen Ross” in 2005.

“A View From the Bridge” revolves around a longshoreman from Brooklyn (Schreiber) who becomes romantically obsessed with his 17 year-old orphaned niece (Johansson).

If Courteney herself needs help with anything, it would be with finding enough hours in the day to juggle the constant demands for her time. Coco recently started kindergarten and has only been picked up from school once by mom. “This is the most taxing job I’ve had,” she admits.

Paris Hilton reportedly demanded live lobsters on the set of her new movie.

The blonde socialite, who makes a cameo appearance in action comedy The Other Guys, gave movie bosses a three-page rider before she agreed to the role.

A source told the New York Post newspaper: "Paris has a cameo role in the movie, where she plays herself."The producers were shocked when her team handed them a three-page list of demands - including live lobsters to be prepared fresh when she's ready to eat and a bottle of Grey Goose vodka - all for just one day on the set."All celebrities are typically offered riders, but it seemed excessive for just one day's work playing herself. She was due to fly to New York to film in secret last week."

Hilton's representative has denied the 28-year-old star demanded live lobsters, saying: "This is totally ridiculous and untrue."

The Other Guys stars Will Ferrell, Eva Mendes, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, Mark Wahlberg, Michael Keaton and Samuel L. Jackson.

In the movie, The Rock and Jackson play elite police officers, while Ferrell and Wahlberg have been cast as incompetent detectives.

SOCIALITE and wannabe pop star Paris Hilton has revealed she is working on a new album inspired by Kylie Minogue.

The blonde heiress took to her Twitter account to express her admiration for the Aussie pop princess.

"I'm so excited that Kylie Minogue is having a US Tour!" Hilton tweeted.

"I love her! She is so beautiful and talented and such an inspiration for my new album."

Hilton said her favourite Kylie song was Spinning Around, and labelled the video clip, which features Minogue in her famous gold hot pants, "so hot!".

Minogue kicked off her first ever North American tour in San Fransisco on Wednesday.

She will play shows in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto and New York.

She has already picked up several influential American fans, including blogger Perez Hilton, who declared: "Kyliemania is about to sweep America!!!!"

Miley Cyrus, who was only two weeks into her Wonder World tour, woke up with a sore throat as she already felt the strain of life on the road.

Although the “Hannah Montana” star tried to have plenty of rest before her show in Salt Lake City Tuesday night, the crowd was informed that Miley needed medical attention. She re-emerged onto the stage after 15 minutes and completed the show, but later announced she had strep throat.

Chris Brown clears rubbish as punishment for beating Rihanna

Yanking out weeds and clearing debris, this is Chris Brown on the first day of his community punishment for attacking ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

Using his hands and garden tools the 20-year-old R&B star cleaned up rubbish at police horse stables alongside two other crooks.

Many thought he should have been locked up for the vicious assault on Rihanna. But the closest he got to being behind bars was when he lugged a huge metal gate away from the site.

Dressed in an orange high visibility vest, white top, baggy jeans and red baseball cap, Brown waved to a few fans who turned up to watch him grafting as part of his 180-hour community order in Richmond, Virginia.

His schedule, including work hours and days, will be flexible, and he will be performing different types of manual labour, according to Richmond police spokesman Gene Lepley. He said officers would not be releasing details of where the singer would be sent each day, fearing security problems.

Brown took along a bodyguard at his own cost, but did not need him.

He was sentenced last month to five years' probation, six months of community labour and a year of domestic violence counselling for February's attack on Rihanna in California.

The pictures of Brown working come as the singer admitted to be pining for his ex-girlfriend on Twitter. He said: "My heart is incomplete...I'm missing someone or something."

He then posted a link to a video for his song Changed Man, which shows him with Rihanna.

But the 21-year-old singer showed no signs of missing her ex and yesterday was out and about in New York in a see-through black top.

And earlier this week she also partied at the MTV Awards.

Jolie, Pitt give $1 million for Pakistani refugees

Celebrity couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt donated $1 million to a UN refugee agency to help Pakistanis displaced by fighting between troops and Taliban militants, the agency said Thursday.

Jolie, the star of 2008 movies Changeling and Wanted, has visited Pakistan three times to witness United Nations relief operations since becoming a "goodwill ambassador" for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees in 2001.

The agency said it was grateful for the donation from Pitt and Jolie, and added that more than two million people in Pakistan had been uprooted this year as a result of the conflict in the northwest part of the country.

Most Pakistanis forced from their homes are living in government buildings or with host families, but 260,000 of them are in camps run by UNHCR, the agency said.

The Hollywood power couple, who gave the $1 million through their Jolie-Pitt Foundation, donated $2 million in September to help children in Ethiopia stricken by disease.
